Successful launch from Vostochnyi cosmodrome — April 28th 2016


I’m pleased to inform you, that on April 28th Moscow State University has successfully launched the satellite “Lomonosov” from the new cosmodrome “Vostochnyi”, located in the Far East Siberia, during the first launch. The main goals of this project – to study extreme processes in the space: Ultra High Energy Cosmic Rays, Transient Luminous Events, Gamma Ray Bursts, variations of the radiation environment and to test space segment of optical monitoring of potentially dangerous space objects.
