The memorandum of understanding between M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University (Russia) and the Regents of the University of California, on behalf of its Los Angeles Campus (USA), has been signed. The purpose of this memorandum is more сlose cooperation including Lomonosov project.

Roscosmos-MSU workshop

The workshop on the project “Lomonosov” chaired by V.A. Popovkin was held in Roscosmos. Space platform, scientific equipment, ground control center (GCC), the variants of launching rocket were discussed. As a result a joint decision (Roscosmos-MSU) is being prepared. It includes information about the type of the launching rocket, date of the launch, financing of the adaptation of the satellite to the rocket, rocket and GCC development.
